Escape the Fate is an American post-hardcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Their first full-length album was released on September 26th, entitled Dying Is Your Latest Fashion.

Vocalist, Ronnie Radke, formed Escape the Fate through MySpace with the help of Max Green. They soon found guitarist Bryan Money, who subsequently brought in guitarist Omar Espinoza (formerly of the band Lovehatehero) in early 2005. Friend and drummer Robert Ortiz eventually joined to complete the group. Debuting live barely a month later, the band found early success on local radio and quickly amassed a devoted fan base. By September 2005 , they had won a local radio contest judged by My Chemical Romance, which awarded them the opportunity to open a show on the band's current headlining tour with Alkaline Trio and Reggie and the Full Effect.
They then signed to Epitaph Records. Their debut five-song EP, There's No Sympathy for the Dead, appeared in early 2006. Tour dates through the summer followed including several dates on the Warped Tour and the band subsequently dropped off a tour with Bullet for My Valentine and Eighteen Visions due to personal problems. Radke was suddenly kicked out of the band weeks before the release of their first full album Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, which was released on Halloween. Dying Is Your Latest Fashion peaked at #12 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and #19 on the Top Independent Albums chart.

As of September 12, 2006, Ronnie Radke was reported to have left the band. A statement on their myspace page revealed:

As of today, Ronnie Radke is officially no longer a member of Escape the Fate. We feel that in order for the band to move forward, the only possible way, to be without him. The reasons as to why are very personal. Just know that we still love him and we wish him all the best of luck in the future

Omar Espinoza left the band during the Negru On Black tour. He stated in his MySpace blog that he left the band for good but that his leaving was on good terms, and he is still friends with the members of Escape The Fate. He is currently living in Las Vegas with his son.

On November 6, 2006, the band released a new blog on Myspace stating that Radke was back in the band. Radke also posted a blog on his Myspace explaining his absence and describing his new love for life.

The band were scheduled to Co-Headline "The Take Action Tour", but were not able to play for reasons unknown and were replaced by From First To Last.
Battery Charge
Radke has had a number of run-ins with law enforcement since 2006, many of which narcotics were related. Radke was also sentenced to five year probation/house arrest in Las Vegas for his involvement in a fight which took place in May 2007. This fight lead to the shooting death of 18 year old Michael Cook. While Radke did not pull the trigger, his friend was armed and did. He pleaded guilty after the person who was supposed to plead with him, committed suicide. There have even been statements made by the mother of Cook that "Radke didn't touch her son at all". In early 2008 the band ceased all touring due to the incident and has not yet commented on the situation. Currently Craig Mabbitt from Blessthefall has temporarily replaced Radke as frontman and lead singer of the band.A statement was made on the band's MySpace profile stating that Craig Mabbitt is singing for three shows and that they have made no definite selection of a singer.
